Typically, Baccarat tables seat up to 14 players. In-keeping with the peculiar levels of superstition surrounding the game, number 13 is omitted, so the places are numbered 1 to 15. As you can see, the table comprises two identical ends for the players and a middle section for the croupier of the game. Players joining the table can claim any open seat. Each end of the table has a betting section at it, made up of the three options - Banker, Player and Tie.
The croupier stands in the middle and directs the gameplay. The two additional dealers serve each end of the table, doling out cards, paying out the wins and removing the losing bets. The wagers are tracked in the middle - the numbered slots stand for the commission each player owes the casino.
Mini Baccarat Table
The mini-Baccarat table seats only 7 players, and only one dealer is present (performing all functions of the croupier and two dealers in the original version of the game).
